AUCTION NIGHT

Our annual Members auction where all members donate items or “experiences” for other members to bid for.

Organised by Lindsay Bain and wife Alison with the Auctioneer role filled very persuasively by Richard Peter, ably assisted by Craig Sargisson.

Items will include such as flowers, plants, artwork, preserves, homemade cakes, , certain flavoured liquids, craftworks, and more. Experiences may include short-break accommodation, BBQ afternoon visit, ‘night at the races’, Devonshire tea afternoon visit,a pasta party and similar.

Members attending the Monday meetings in the previous couple of weeks will be able to indicate what they plan to donate. Those not attending should let Lindsay know by direct email in advance - or bring a surprise.

Funds raised through the auction go to help with Club administration costs and the Club’s commitment to Rotary International. Any balance is utilised to support a range of charitable projects within New Zealand or other countries
