RSA Runners on the Rocks

A RSA Club Staff Charity Challenge - a message from the RSA management:

This 48-hour event will have our staff divided into two teams, competing to:

Log the most kilometres on treadmills and pedometers

Raise the most money for Age Concern Canterbury, a charity dedicated to improving the well-being of older people and their friends, and whanau in our community.

We are seeking sponsorships to help us reach our fundraising goals and would love for your organization to be involved. You can support us in one of the following ways: Sponsoring per kilometre: Pledge a donation for each kilometre our teams log over the 48-hour period, or Making a set donation: A one-time contribution to support the event and its charitable cause.

Our members have decided that they are not quite up to challenging the RSA staff, so we propose that we will individually sponsor one of the teams. Next time you visit the RSA make sure you ask for the sponsorship list to add your offer. And, no doubt, the team members would appreciate you giving a bit of personal support at some time during the 48 hours.

BOOK FAIR 2024

The Annual Book Fair has been organised by the Rotary Club of Rangiora for over 30 years and it has grown steadily and moved location over that time. Last year the Fair raised $37,000 net of expenses. Those funds were granted to numerous causes to benefit the members of the North Canterbury community.

This year we hope we will far exceed this total - in spite of the hard financial times that folk are experiencing currently.

The citizens of Rangiora and surrounding areas are fantastic in the level of support for charitable causes.

Doors open at 4pm on Thursday afternoon and close at 8pm, then on fFriday we are open from 9am to 8pm and on Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

AND WE DON’T JUST OFFER BOOKS - THERE ARE MAGAZINES, JIGSAWS, CD MUSIC, DVD VIDEOS, BOARD GAMES, CHILDRENS GAMES

EFTPOS or CASH !

LOCATION: RANGIORA A &P SHOWGROUNDS,

156 Ashley Street, Rangiora
